sleep, my friend, i miss you

school is so much work, ahhhhhhh, my schedule during the day is so full, i don’t know if i can take this, i’m thinking about taking 2 of my classes pass/fail because i don’t need them, my flamenco and sex class, but if i got a’s in them which i’m almost certain i can pull off i want that gpa booster, but it’d be a lot of weight lifted if those grades for these classes didn’t matter and all i needed to do was pass, i could just take them leisurely…..

went bowling last night, first game 71, second game awesome come back with a 126, i think my best of all time was around 150

tonight i went to an information meeting for im flash tech, their presentation was so good, they make silicon wafers, and they hire cheme’s, who knew? it’s in utah though, blah, but they made it sound really cool and fun, i didn’t even bring my resume, but by the end i was bought, but i’m kind of guillible and easily bought (in some things) i’m going to apply, i was going to be really proactive about finding jobs this semester but i really haven’t done, well anything

blah on school

i had such a busy day, design at 8, kompala lab at 9:30, left early today at 11:15, didn’t really feel like being there cause pam left early too, went home ate lunch, finished my burrito from tuesday from big city, and chicken wings and a slice of pizza from papa john’s delivery, late to flamenco class at noon, didn’t realize the class actually went to 1:00 and not 12:50, i had to leave early to go to my 1:00 meeting with emily for intro to che, we weren’t done by the time i left at 1:55 to go to my 2:00, social constructions of sexuality, that class was packed, she should not encourage waitlisted people to attend, i had to sit on the floor because there were no seats, grrrrrrrr, but i guess i was late, then i worked in the medlin lab til 5:30, then i just got back from the boulder chophouse, damn 40 bucks for dinner, i’m in college, i can’t spend that kind of dough

the snow wasn’t that bad so i got to go to steamboat, yay!! it’s so pretty there, the houses make it look like those christmas scenes that people get model figures of

this was us at dinner, we went to cucino’s because hamen said the last time she went it was amazing, i got the godfather with clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari, in a pesto sauce, it was ok, not amazing though

 there were a lot of these gas stations hanging around, the g went out on this sign, tee hee

darn it, you snow

so i guess i can’t go to steamboat anymore because of the snow that’s going to be coming this week, the avalanche got the parents worried about mountain driving i think, i already couldn’t see lotus because of the snow, which i’m very sad about, and now i can’t go have some fun either, =(

wore my new shirt today, aeropostal clothes are 70% off, got a bunch of new underwear there too, and i got a new book, the interpretation of murder by rubenfeld i think, supposed to be good, we’ll see, it was in the suspense and thriller section, hopefully not too scary, i think i have a shopping problem, it doesn’t matter where i am or what it is i’ll always buy something when i’m out, it could be a crappy screwdriver or something i’ll never even use, i just get this impulse inside of me that says, oh come on you deserve this, you don’t have anything like it or at least in this color, it will make you so happy to get it, and it always does, material possessions can make me so happy

i signed up for blockbuster free trial last night, lasts for two weeks, got my free in store rental today, it’s really expensive now to do the movie pass, 2 movies for 27.99 it used to be around 15, the mail in stuff with 3 movies is 17.99, it’s too much i think, i’ll cancel after the free trial

as old as it gets

i worked today and this old man came in, said he was the brother of the lady that works at the mattress king, some stores down, he talked to me for a while, he was so cute, told me how he fell asleep on a tempedic mattress after only a couple minutes instead of the half hour it normally takes him.  he’s from minnesota and he says his sister’s son married a woman from hong kong.  i tihnk i really like talking to old people, when i went to katie’s wedding i didn’t know anybody so i ended up sitting at a table full of old people from her church, they were quite entertaining.  and had many valuable conversations, this lady next to me, barbara was 65, she was awesome, but her story is kind of sad, she’s been battling her sister for things after her mother passed away earlier this year, i don’t ever want to do that with my sister, money is just money, you either have it or you don’t, there’s no need to get nasty with family over it, this other man al said it took forty years to resolve everything after his mother died, can you imagine!! he invited me to join their church, said they love to have people like me their, whatever that means, he was staring at me a lot during the dinner, unless it was a coincidence everytime i looked at him he was looking at me, but he said we should discuss more chemical engineering things, so nice, i should volunteer at the home near where max used to live when i get back to boulder, old people have so much more to offer than people my age, and i don’t have to feel like i need them to like me
