mondays

so the weekend is over, did i do anything fun?? anything?? nope, friday i felt so crappy, i hate you period, it’s not even the bleeding part, well partly, but my legs turn to jello the first day and cramps just make me want to die, i had to go into the lab, which is where i am now, it sucks, i’m testing out the new ramp rate i set, so exciting!!!!    NOT, that’s from borat, i guess that movie was ok, definitely not as funny as some seem to think though, but i studied for the gre all weekend, i don’t know if it’s helping, especially the verbal part, either i know the words or i don’t, even trying to learn the prefix, suffix stuff is crap because there’s always exceptions, if you break down some words, from the prefix, suffix you’d think it means one thing, but it really means something completely different, i don’t know, but i guess i should study since i paid over 100 bucks to take it, went home saturday for soup, i love soup!!! it’s so good and relaxing, oh before i did that i went to the boulder public library, (skated there) i don’t know if i want to go back there to study, it’s so sketchy, i remember that from the last time i was there, there’s a lot of homeless people that go there to hang out, actually i don’t know if they’re homeless but just dirty looking people, and i know i shouldn’t judge but yeah, they look dirty and one guy was listening to this cd player there and he kept mumbling to himself, yeah there’s wierdos everywhere right, but he kept getting louder and louder, you’re in a library buddy, and then i heard what he was saying, stuff like, why are you coming through the music, i don’t want to hear you anymore, stop talking….. so creepy right, i was like, ummmm i’m ready to get out of here, crazies are not for me

since thu got her skateboard and i’ve decided that skating is actually a really fun time, i’ve been looking around for a cheap board, i suck right, why spend lots of money on it, so i found one, it’s not a longboard but a weird skateboard that’s designed for learning how to snowboard, i’m going to get it tomorrow i think hopefully it’s not sold yet, see picture below

i dont think i’ve read more in all the other summers of my life combined than this summer, right now i’m reading a strange commonplace and its not very good, i’m more than half way through it, should i just quit it or finish it even though it sucks, this book reminds me of as i lay dying, i hate this faulkner style, it’s not literature, it’s a mess is what it is

dun dun dun….to the dentist

got a cleaning this morning from ryan’s mom, finally stopped going to comfort dental because i hated that place, looking at my x-rays i only have one cavity and it’s on the tooth that i’ve been working on (comfort dental said i needed a root canal on it but i was leaving for china and was going to do it when i came back so they stuffed some temporary stuff in it and then it started hurting when i was in hong kong and the dentist there cleaned it out for me but they DIDNT do that at comfort dental and said that’s probably why it was hurting and said they saw a crack in it maybe so it might not be suitable even for a root canal so that guy put more temporary stuff in and said if it doesn’t hurt for two months i’d probably be ok for a regular filling) so today looking at the x-rays the nerve is fine, my tooth isn’t dying!! yay!! from the x-ray it doesn’t look like the crack goes down into the tooth so i can get a simple filling!! when i went to comfort dental they told me i had four or five cavities, motherfuckers, so unbelieveable, i had a fishy feeling about them, i saw my x-rays today and my teeth are so healthy i need to get my upper wisdom teeth out though, their making my jaw pop, sometimes i can’t open my mouth wide either, so i’ve set appointments…..

pirates, arrrrrrr

have you seen the new pirate movie? it’s rate arrrrrrr, i learned that joke from matt, my old neighbor, but i did see the new pirate movie, finally, last night with hamen and ryan, i wanted to see it so bad because everyone said it was so good. it was pretty good but really confusing, i should have brushed up on my pirates of the carribean before seeing it. i had no idea what they were talking about through the beginning but by the end i was engaged, the part where which jack attached to a long wooden pole and had fruit thrown at him was so hilarious! i’ve been reading a new book i got at the library, i borrowed two the last time i went, the first one i finished in three days, that’s so fast for me, it usually takes me months because i lose interest, it was called, i did but i wouldn’t now, pretty cute, teeny boppery book, the one i’m on now is called make him look good, i actually laugh out loud to this book, i never do that, never, it reminds my of my big fat greek wedding except in book form, i definitely recommend
